Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the iPhone app “Streakwise” (the “App”), provided by Julian Schäfer, c/o Impressumservice Dein-Impressum, Stettiner Str. 41, 35410 Hungen, Germany (“we”, “us”). In addition, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies. Where these Terms contain more specific provisions, they take precedence to the extent permitted.

2. The service

Streakwise helps you plan habits, track them every day and evaluate your progress. Using the App requires an active subscription; without one, the App only shows the subscription offer. Some features also require an account (cloud backup) or access to Apple Health (steps, distance). We aim to keep the App available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Subscriptions

4. Account

An account is optional and is created with “Sign in with Apple”. You can delete it at any time in the App under Settings › Account › Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; please cancel it with Apple as described above.

5. Your content

The habits, goals and other content you enter belong to you. We only process them to provide the App, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not use the App for unlawful purposes.

6. No medical advice

Streakwise is not a medical product and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a doctor before making significant changes to your exercise, sleep or nutrition. Values from Apple Health may be incomplete or inaccurate.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of obligations whose fulfilment is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on which you may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. Mandatory consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

8. Changes to the App and these Terms

We continue to develop the App and may change features as long as this is reasonable for you. We may amend these Terms for valid reasons, such as legal changes or new features. We will inform you about material changes in good time in the App.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
